ROOTS: a group art exhibition

In the words of co-curator, Ilario D’andrea himself, “ROOTS will feature the work of ten New York based artists and will explore the concept of mapping our lived experiences geographically in order to form a better connection with our environments, our art making, and ourselves. Through this concept, we look to establish a stronger foundation for community in order to point towards a more careful and generous futurity.”

roots was held at Seventh heaven bar & karaoke in bushwick, Brooklyn. I captured the spirit, the fun, the love of the karaoke after party!
