a fabric stitched from frequencies.
Sound Fabric is a weekly radio show hosted by Jose Chaves. I was hired to develop sound fabric’s brand identity, plus design flyers for the show’s announcement and weekly track list.
ambient, drone, and glitch. Jose tasked me with ensuring the brand embodied these three words.
I designed sound fabric’s look, including it’s logo, completely from scratch. for this project, I started with a photo of Chicago’s iconic bean. through conversations with Jose, I learned that Chicago is one of his favorite places on earth, so it felt right to use this as a starting off point. I tend to infuse a human element in my work…design is for the human eye after all! the photo I ended up using was taken from my own trip to the bean.
